A Lebanese-Canadian poet and educator, Najwa Zebian was born in Bekaa, Lebanon, and moved to Ontario at sixteen during the 2006 Lebanon War. She holds a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, all from the University of Western Ontario. Her debut collection, Mind Platter (Andrews McMeel, 2018), was followed by The Nectar of Pain (Andrews McMeel, 2018) and Sparks of Phoenix (Andrews McMeel, 2019). She founded Soul Academy, a digital school for personal development.
