Katie, a poet living in San Diego, CA, came up with the idea. David, Katie's husband, helps with the business side. He has worked in design and tech for nearly 30 years.

What books are in The Poetry Shop?
How do books get on The Poetry Shop?
The Poetry Shop sells books available through Ingram Content Group. Ingram is one of the largest book distribution networks in the world, featuring large and small presses alike.
Why can’t I find the book I’m looking for?
We don’t carry everything (yet). If you’re looking for a poetry book and can’t find it, please let us know at info@thepoetryshop.com. We will make it available if we can
I am a poet and my book was published. How can I get my book on the The Poetry Shop?
If your book has been published through a publisher, confirm that they use Ingram Content Group for distribution. If they do, then your book can be listed on The Poetry Shop.
I am a poet and I self-published a book. How can I get my book on the The Poetry Shop?
If your book has been self-published through Ingram Spark, then your book can be listed on The Poetry Shop.
If you book has been self-published through a platform other than Ingram Spark, then contact that platform to determine if they can distribute through Ingram. If they do, then your book can be listed on The Poetry Shop.
If you have self-published though Amazon KDP, additional steps are necessary to distribute your book through Ingram. The Alliance of Independent Authors has guidance for this process. Once these are complete, your book can be listed in The Poetry Shop.
Shipping
I bought a book. When do you send it?
Orders received before 10:00am Central Time are shipped the same day from our partner warehouse in Tennessee. Orders received after 10:00am Central Time are shipped the next day.
How long does it take for a book to arrive?
Our distributor offers a range of shipping options in cooperation with The Poetry Shop, some as fast as 1-2 daysr.
I am in another country, outside the USA. Will you ship to me?
