If you published a book...
Determine if your book meets ALL of these criteria:
- It is a book of poetry or a book about the craft of poetry
- The book has a valid ISBN number
- The book is distributed by Ingram
- The book is new and available in hardcover or paperback
- The book is in stock and available for purchase or pre-order

If your book meets these criteria, then follow this process:
- email us at info@thepoetryshop.com with the title and ISBN of your book(s)
- We will confirm the books can be listed on The Poetry Shop
- We will email you with links to available books once they are live
- You can share the links anywhere you like!

Books from major publishers
Typically, these books automatically meet the criteria for The Poetry Shop.
Books from independent publishers
These books almost always meet the criteria for The Poetry Shop. Confirm with your publisher.
Self-published or Hybrid-published books
These books can meet the criteria for The Poetry shop, depending on the platform and the options that the author has chosen. If the book has an ISBN and the platform has distribution with Ingram, then it should meet the requisite criteria. If you are unsure, see your self-published or hybrid publisher for details.
Self-published through IngramSpark
These books can meet the criteria for The Poetry Shop if the book has a valid ISBN. The book can receive a free ISBN from IngramSpark, or the author can opt to purchase a transferable ISBN. If you are unsure, confirm with IngramSpark.
Self-published through Amazon KDP
These books can meet the criteria for The Poetry Shop if you have a valid ISBN and choose Expanded Distribution. This makes the book available to Ingram for distribution while preserving your contract with Amazon. See Amazon's information on Expanded Distribution for details.

Used books and eBooks
We do not sell used books or eBooks (yet). Only new hardcover and paperback books.
Books available for Pre-Order
We are able to list books that are available for pre-order. When a customer purchases the book, we will collect payment and the book will be shipped on after publishing date.
The Poetry Shop does not arrange the launch date of any book.
Out of Stock books
If a book is out of stock, we can confirm it is generally available but reserve the right to take it down until it returns back in stock. Listing Out of Stock books can, in some situations, be bad for The Poetry Shop and is to be avoided.
Curation and Assortment
Books listed on The Poetry Shop must be books of poetry or books regarding the craft of writing poetry. Listing books is completed at the sole discretion of The Poetry Shop.
