Shipping policy
The Poetry Shop works with fulfillment partners to process orders as quickly as possible. Shipping is provided by the United States Postal Service.
Orders are fulfilled at the following handling schedule:
- Orders are processed in the order in which they arrive.
- Orders that are placed before 10:00 am Central Time will be shipped the same day.
- Orders that arrive after 10:00 am Central Time will be shipped the next day.
Extenuating Conditions to Handling:
- times of extreme volume there may be additional, unforeseen delays, e.g., during the weeks leading up to the major Winter holidays
- books produced using print-on-demand printing technology are printed after the order has been placed and may see up to 4 additional days in handling
- Products other than books (e.g., tshirts, mugs) may have longer timelines
The Poetry Shop works with fulfillment partners who handle shipping. Our fulfillment partner makes three shipping options available in The Poetry Shop:
- Economy: 5-8 business days (USPS Media Mail)
- Expedited: 2-5 business days (USPS Ground Advantage)
- Express: 1-2 business days (USPS Priority)
The Shipping rates displayed to customers in Checkout are calculated based on the weight of the items in the customer's order.
Once shipped, a notification email with tracking information will be sent to your email address.
