An American poet and visual artist from Maryland, Trista Mateer publishes with Central Avenue Publishing. Her collections include Honeybee (Central Avenue Publishing, 2015), The Dogs I Have Kissed (Central Avenue Publishing, 2016), and Aphrodite Made Me Do It (Central Avenue Publishing, 2019), the first in a sequence of mythology-based collections that continued with Artemis Made Me Do It (2022) and Persephone Made Me Do It (2023).
