About Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer

Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer has written a poem a day since 2006. She posts them at A Hundred Falling Veils. Her collections include Naked for Tea, Hush, All the Honey, and The Unfolding; Wildhouse Poetry follows them with The Wonderment. Hush won the Halcyon Prize. The Unfolding took a 2025 Nautilus Book Award silver medal, and Naked for Tea was an Able Muse Book Award finalist. She served as San Miguel County's first poet laureate (2007–2011) and as Colorado's Western Slope Poet Laureate (2015–2017). Her poems have aired on A Prairie Home Companion and PBS News Hour. She co-hosts Emerging Form, a podcast on creative process. She earned an MA in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
