Holder of an MFA from Indiana University, Christopher Citro is an American poet. His collections are The Maintenance of the Shimmy-Shammy (Steel Toe Books, 2015) and If We Had a Lemon We'd Throw It and Call That the Sun (Elixir Press, 2021), which won the 2019 Antivenom Poetry Award. He received a 2018 Pushcart Prize. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, Iowa Review, and Narrative, among other journals.
