A poet based in Southern California, Katie Kemple is the author of the chapbook Big Man (Chestnut Review Chapbooks, 2025). Her manuscript Love in the Key of COBRA won the 2025 Iron Horse Literary Review chapbook competition. Her poems have appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, Ploughshares, North American Review, Rattle, and The South Carolina Review.
