A graduate of Roanoke College in creative writing and sociology, Katie Wismer is an American poet and novelist. She wrote the poetry collections The Sweetest Kind of Poison (2018), Poems for the End of the World (2020), and Breakable Things: Poetry and Prose (2022); the second was a 2020 Goodreads Choice Awards semifinalist for poetry. She has also published fantasy and contemporary novels and works as a freelance editor.
