Born in Buffalo, New York, Molly Peacock is the author of numerous collections, among them Cornucopia: New and Selected Poems (W.W. Norton, 2002) and The Second Blush (W.W. Norton, 2008). Her memoir Paradise, Piece by Piece (Riverhead, 1998) recounts her decision not to have children, and Alphabetique (McClelland & Stewart, 2014) is a collection of fictions. She helped create the Poetry in Motion program, which placed verse in New York City subways and buses, and twice served as president of the Poetry Society of America. She lives in Toronto.
