Editor of Rattle magazine since 2006, Timothy Green studied English alongside biochemistry, psychology, and Eastern philosophy at the University of Rochester, where he was a Rush Rhees and Take Five Scholar and graduated magna cum laude in 2003. He worked as a group home counselor for adults with schizophrenia before joining the magazine as an assistant editor in 2004. His first collection, American Fractal (Red Hen Press, 2009), followed an earlier version that won the Phi Kappa Phi Award from the University of Southern California, where he completed a master's in professional writing. He hosts the weekly Rattlecast and co-hosts The Poetry Space_.
