About Oh Eun

Oh Eun is a Korean poet, born in Jeongeup, North Jeolla Province. He studied sociology at Seoul National University and earned a master's degree at the Graduate School of Culture Technology at KAIST. He writes in Korean, and his collections include Pigs at the Hôtel Tassel, We Love Atmosphere, From Being to Being and I Had a Name, alongside several books of essays. He won the Park In-hwan Literary Award in 2014 and the first Gu Sang Poetry Award in 2018. The collection stocked here, From Being to Being (Black Ocean, 2025), is Shyun Ahn's English translation of his 2016 Korean collection.
