Rick Lupert's 28th collection of poems and latest travelogue, written on the go in and on the way to and from Italy and France. Join the ultimate stranger in a strange land as he travels through Bologna (where famous food is eaten and tall things are climbed up), Florence (where a promised cow is not delivered), Naples (where all the historic pizza is discovered), and Paris (which is always a good idea.) Reading It's Spritz O'Clock Somewhere is the ideal way to travel to Italy without incurring the expense yourself. Lupert's signature wit and wisdom are on full display as he navigates the ancient pathways of the Roman empire, eating all the cheese available, and interpreting some of the world's most beautiful art and architecture. There's no more fun way to experience the joy of place with poetic eyes wide open.
