About Caitlin Conlon

A poet and copyeditor from upstate New York, Caitlin Conlon took a BA in English and a certificate in creative writing at the University at Buffalo. There she won the Arthur Axlerod Memorial Prize for Poetry and the Friends of the University Libraries Undergraduate Poetry Prize. Her first collection, The Surrender Theory, appeared from Central Avenue Poetry in 2022; Burning the Ghost Light followed in 2025. Poems have appeared in Anti-Heroin Chic, Up the Staircase Quarterly, and Rust + Moth. With Ari B. Cofer she co-founded Unearth Writing Retreats, and she writes Dancing with The Marginalia, a fortnightly newsletter of essays on books and reading.
