About Liza Katz Duncan

Autumn House Press published Given in 2023. The manuscript had won the 2022 Autumn House Rising Writer Prize in Poetry under judge Donika Kelly. The collection was longlisted, then shortlisted, and finally took Best International First Collection at the 2023 Laurel Prize, whose panel that year was chaired by Pascale Petit and included Reeta Chakrabarti and Nick Laird. Liza Katz Duncan's poems have appeared in AGNI, The Common, The Kenyon Review, Poetry, and on Poem-a-Day and Poetry Daily. A second title, Drought / Diagnosis, is also in print. She lives in New Jersey.
