About Julie Ezelle Patton

A poet and visual artist, Julie Ezelle Patton is the author of J Walking Through the Alphabet (Nightboat Books, 2026) and Yet To Be Named (Nightboat Books, 2024). Her work has been supported by the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, among other organizations. Ezelle Patton has taught workshops at the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art (now moCa), the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, New York University, and Teachers and Writers Collaborative. She has performed at venues including the Center for Book Arts and has collaborated with artists across disciplines.
