About Jen Karetnick

Jen Karetnick holds two MFAs, poetry from the University of California, Irvine and fiction from the University of Miami. She co-founded Supporting Women Writers in Miami, where she is managing editor of the daily journal SWWIM Every Day. Inheritance with a High Error Rate won the Cider Press Review Book Award in 2022; American Sentencing, Landscaping for Wildlife and Organ Language are her other collections here. She also wrote Mango for the University Press of Florida, and worked for years as a dining critic in Miami. She lives there in a century-old house with fourteen mango trees.
