About Angela Narciso Torres

Angela Narciso Torres holds an MFA in poetry from Warren Wilson College. She also holds a graduate degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and is a senior and reviews editor at RHINO Poetry. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Manila, she lives in southern California. Blood Orange won the Willow Books Literature Award for Poetry and appeared from Willow Books in 2013; the chapbook To the Bone followed from Sundress Publications, and What Happens Is Neither from Four Way Books in 2021, a finalist for a Best Book Award. She took first prize in the 2019 Yeats Poetry Prize.
